Hickory Christian Ministry Offers Aid, Health Care

The mission of Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry is to provide health care services to those in need, as well as emergency food to those who are hungry. The organization also offers educational and supportive services to those who are in crisis.

GHCCM was chartered in 1969. Running a thrift store is another one of its services. The nonprofit ministry in Catawba County also operates a free health care clinic and pharmacy, along with a dental and eye clinic.

The organization is currently in the midst of a $3 million endowment and capital campaign called “Faith in the Future.”
